Our aim was to make this basement the hub of entertainment for this family, a difficult challenge as basements are usually dingy and dark. We washed the surfaces both inside and outside with concrete and created an angular geometric language that could serve many purposes. It became a wall texture housing lighting, it became the fixed seating, the bar, the steps and even the column. We custom designed the dining table and styled the Martian chairs as dining chairs. This space transports you to another world and creates a very relaxed and modern vibe.
