Phenotype Architecture Studio
Khosla Residence, New Delhi
The design brief was to create spaces that feel familiar yet fresh. We made sure that not every decorative element was vantage, so as to keep the spaces fresh and contextual. The scheme uses modern pieces along with "found antiques", to capture nostalgia, making sure to incorporate old world comforts, Iike rubble wall surfaces and wooden slats. The boundary to the outdoorsis almost imperceptible, affording unhindered vistas of the farmland. The living room offers unyielding views of the surrounding landscape. The central courtyard tips its hat to the outdoor courts.
