Working with a strict budget and design guidelines, the clients wished to create an aesthetic to appeal to "detail-loving individualists". The scheme blends the contextual vocabulary with a modern design sensibility. The dramatic bedrooms feature big windows that let in the dappled sunlightfrom the tree canopies outside. With such striking views, the walls could be kept empty of pictures and the only other details are the bedside tables in lighter wood.
