Mahima Mahajan

While conceptualising an atelier for Mahima Mahajan, the objective was to create a space that is fresh, clean and appeals to the young target audience of the brand while being experimental in our expression and presentation.

Inspired by the moon landing, we wanted to create what was seemingly another planet and transport the end user to a tranquil and feminine space full of light, joy and fantasy.

The space seamlessly unfolds gently with its sensuous curves revealing the terrain ahead.

An interesting phenomenon of reflection, refraction and colour bursts experienced in the aurora borealis and the milky way drew us to the effect of motion in dichroic film. We experimented with this phenomenon by using it on different surfaces that resulted in changing hues that further celebrate Mahima’s experimentation with colour in her collections.

The end result is a unique terrain with its bold futuristic DNA rooted in feminine forms.
