Borderline Studio

Borderline Studio is a collaborative platform for creation outside of our architectural projects. For our first furniture collection, we collaborated with graphic designer Priyanka Singh to come up with “The Martian Get Together”. We formulated a new language using angular lines and triangulated forms to conceptualise and fabricate metal furniture which looked futuristic and edgy. A family of characters were born, everyone from the curious chair, flaky ashtray to the condescending bench soon emerged out of “the mothership” which was a space heater that turns into a wine chiller in the summer!
